In with the New: Family Fun, Exhibits, and Guests to Expect at This Year’s Fall Show

The lineup for the 2026 Maryland Fall Home & Garden + Craft Show, which runs from October 16–18 at the Maryland State Fairgrounds in Timonium (Baltimore County), is chock-full of activities for every age and interest. Whether you’re looking to learn more about plants or searching for a craft to do with the kids, there’s something for everyone — and many new programs to look forward to, in addition to some returning favorites, like our Petting Zoo and Outdoor Oasis.

Kids’ Market

Young people need spaces to create, explore, and test out their ideas, and this year’s Kids Market will give kids ages 5–17 an opportunity to do that, while learning from young entrepreneurs. Open October 17–18 from 10 a.m.–5 p.m., the Kids Market will showcase several young makers who have worked hard to build their own business models and sell unique works of art.

Habitat ReStores: Halloween Edition

There’s nothing like supporting a local cause while ringing in spooky season. The mission of Habitat for Humanity of the Chesapeake ReStores is to provide safe and affordable homes across Central Maryland through donations of new and gently used furniture, appliances, and building materials. Habitat ReStores will be showing a Halloween-inspired display at the show, featuring furniture, home goods, and eclectic items repurposed for all your seasonal decorating needs. ReStores will also offer a hint of Christmas flair with its Trash to Treasure: Holiday Edition display.

A Conversation with Maine Cabin Masters

This year’s celebrity guests are bringing coastal charm and home renovation hacks to the fall show stage! Chase and Ashley Morrill and Ryan Eldridge, the stars of Magnolia Network’s hit show, Maine Cabin Masters, will be at the main stage Friday, October 16 at 4 p.m. and Saturday, October 17 at 12 p.m., to answer questions and share stories about their work renovating lakeside cabins across the state of Maine.
